Western Hills High School (KY) Improves ACT Composite by 2 Points
Western Hills High School partnered with MasteryPrep to host a Boot Camp for the ACT for 67 juniors who were within 1–4 points of meeting Kentucky’s system-wide benchmarks across one or more ACT sections.
As a result, the Western Hills Class of 2023 posted an average ACT composite of 18.8—up 2.1 points from 16.7 when those same students tested as sophomores in 2022.

Transforming Test Prep with Boot Camps: Memorial High School (OK)
Memorial High School, one of nine high schools in Tulsa Public Schools, enrolls more than 1,000 students. In recent years, the school received an ‘F’ in Academic Achievement on its Oklahoma School Report Card—one of five indicators that factor into a school’s overall grade.
Before the 2023–24 school year, Memorial transitioned from the SAT to the ACT and turned to MasteryPrep for support. What began as a single MasteryPrep Boot Camp for the ACT has grown into a robust partnership, with ACT Prep Week now serving as one component of a year-round strategy to strengthen outcomes. The school improved its Academic Achievement rating to a ‘D’ in 2023-24 and largely attributes the increase to its work with MasteryPrep.
